Influenster – Palmolive® Fresh Infusions™ Review

This review is long overdue. Sorry!

What’s a VoxBox?

It’s a reward you might get for being a great Influenster. Too vague? OK fine, it’s a box filled to the brim with the hottest products that interest you. Paying attention now?

Here’s how it works: Influensters are selected for FREE themed product shipments based on the Expert Badges they have unlocked and based on individual demographics. This ensures members receive products that match their interests.

Members with high scores — within the specific badge we are targeting at the time — are prioritized, which is all the more reason to get your Influenster and Expert Badge scores high.

I received my first Influenster box a couple weeks ago. It’s not an official Voxbox (please see above to see what a VoxBox is) where there are several different items that I can try out but a new product from Palmolive.  Influenster is one of those sites where you can try out new products for free, as long as you spread the word about it.  Signing up is free and you need to earn badges. The more you earn, the more boxes you’ll get!  Click here to learn more about Influenster. I’ve actually posted up a blog about the newly vamped Influenster website in the past.  Click here to view it.

We have a dishwasher but we only use it when we have a lot of guests over.  We prefer to wash our dishes and we do have a dish rack. We loyally use the regular green colored Palmolive for our dishes.  Sometimes we will stray and get some Dawn (like when it’s on sale at Costco) but we mainly use Palmolive.  It cleans well and it’s not harsh on our hands.  I know people use rubber globes to protect their hands from drying out while doing the dishes but I hate rubber gloves.  I hate how I can’t feel anything and the dishes always fall out of my hands when I’m wearing gloves – which result in broken dishes and glasses in my porcelain sink. Yep, you saw right.  Porcelain sink.  IT TOTALLY BLOWS.  DO NOT GET A PORCELAIN SINK.  My parents had the kitchen re-done a few years ago and the stupid people actually recommended a porcelain sink.  God knows for what ridiculous reason but what we didn’t foresee was that dishes and glasses (especially!) will break easily in a freaking porcelain sink.  Bad mistake!!!  Always go with a stainless steel sink!  It doesn’t look as nice as a porcelain sink but at least it doesn’t break/chip all your nice china and wine glasses!  Grrr!

*End rant on porcelain sink* 😦

So I qualified for the new Palmolive product. I had to take a survey and shortly after, I found out I qualified and that they were going to send me a box. It took a while but I finally received it:

Card that came with the box –

Palmolive Fresh Infusions!
I think this is a fairly new products since I can’t find a specific website for this product.
It is readily available at Target and Walmart, though!

I received 3 full-sized bottles in 3 different scents:

– Ginger White Tea
– Lemon Thyme
-Lime Basil

I kept the Ginger White Tea scent because I love that scent. I know that Dial soft soap has that scent that smells divine. Bath & Body Works also has that scent and I absolutely love it.  I gave the other two bottles to my mother and my sister because they told me to share and share, I did! 🙂

I like how the bottles look.  They look very updated and trendy.
I also received $1.50 coupons for the product.
[Please disregard the jade elephant – he did not come with my package – I needed something to stop the bottles from rolling around so I could take a picture, lol]

A closer look at the bottles. Looks nice, right?

I think they all smell great although Ginger White Tea is definitely my favorite.  We’ve been using it every day now and I find that it lathers up well and also cleans well.  I think if you want a trendy look to your kitchen sink and are sick of the same basic dish liquid scents, you can always get this.  It’s the same trusty Palmolive product with just an updated look and yummy scents!  I love them!

Thanks to Influenster for giving me the opportunity to try this out. I’m definitely looking forward to my first official VoxBox though, whenever that will be.

[Note: I received these products from Influenster to try them out for free.  This review is entirely my own and was not compensated in any way to state my honest opinion.]
